BitMart Opens Pre-Market Access for SPACE Token Minting

Crypto exchange BitMart has announced that pre-market minting for the SPACE/USDT pair is now live, allowing users to access the SPACE token before regular spot trading begins. The update was shared through BitMart’s official communication channels. According to the exchange, trading is scheduled to start on December 25, 2025, while generation began one day earlier.

The update marks an early-stage market event for SPACE, built on the Solana network. It lets users use USDT to mint SPACE tokens before the token becomes fully available for open trading.

What Is the Pre-Market Mechanism and Its Eligibility

The mechanism is an early access phase that lets users take part in a event before regular trading starts. During this stage, users can mint or trade tokens under special rules set by the exchange.

To be eligible, users usually need:

  • A verified exchange account
  • Enough balance (such as USDT)
  • To follow platform-specific rules and limits

Access happens before spot trading and may involve higher price changes compared to normal markets.

What Pre-Market Minting Means for Users

It allows you to create or receive tokens before they are listed for normal trading. In this case, you can stake USDT to mint tokens during the early access phase on BitMart.

This process is often used by exchanges to support price discovery and liquidity ahead of an official listing. It also gives users the option to take part in early trading activity without waiting for the spot market to open.

BitMart stated that this phase is separate from standard trading and operates under specific terms set by the exchange.

What Is SPACE?

Beyond the minting process itself, attention has also turned to behind the SPACE token. It is the decentralized prediction market platform built on Solana. Prediction markets allow trading on the outcomes of real-world events, such as crypto price movements, politics, sports, and technology trends.

According to the details shared by the team, it supports peer-to-peer trading and offers leveraged prediction features. The platform aims to let you express views on outcomes rather than simply buying or selling assets.

It has been promoted as introducing up to 10x leverage in prediction markets on Solana, along with zero maker fees. These features are designed to support liquidity and user participation, though leverage-based tools may carry higher risk.

Early Market Activity and Project Background

The team previously completed a public sale that reportedly raised more than $2.5 million, with demand exceeding the planned allocation. The project’s roadmap shows a mainnet launch planned for Q1 2026, following ongoing development and testing phases.

Community interest has grown in recent weeks, with mentions of ecosystem partnerships, including collaboration discussions involving Helius Labs. These mentions have added visibility to the project across social channels.

At the same time, some community replies have raised questions around risk management, utility, and long-term adoption. Such mixed reactions are common for early-stage DeFi projects, especially those introducing new market models.

Transparency and Design

Project materials shared publicly outline a token structure that includes fee buybacks and burns, with a portion of platform fees planned to be used for supply reduction. The team has stated that these mechanisms are designed to support long-term ecosystem sustainability.

As with all early crypto projects, details may evolve as development continues and market conditions change.

Market Context and Risk Awareness

Pre-market trading and minting are designed for early access but can involve higher uncertainty. Prices during this phases may differ from later spot prices once broader trading begins.

Crypto analysts often advise to review project documentation, understand mechanics, and consider personal risk tolerance before joining early-stage activity.

Looking Ahead

With pre-market minting now live and trading set to open soon, it enters its next public phase on BitMart. The coming weeks may offer more clarity on interest, liquidity, and user participation as the project moves closer to its planned mainnet launch.

As the crypto world continues to expand, early access events like this highlight both opportunity and risk, reinforcing the need for informed decision-making.
