Moca Network Unveils MocaProof Beta Identity Platform

Moca Network, a project from Animoca Brands that’s building the world’s largest digital identity network, today announced the beta launch of MocaProof. This new platform helps people prove their identity in a fun way, using blockchain technology to protect their privacy and give them control over their data.

MocaProof lets people prove things like ownership, participation, and qualifications on different blockchain networks. And it does all of this without needing to share any personal details or private inn.formatio

MocaProof works with Moca Network’s AIR Kit and Moca Chain to make sure identity data can be reused, shared, and verified across different platforms. It also provides zero-knowledge proof (which means no one can see your data but they can still verify it), decentralized storage (for extra security), and a single sign-on feature (so you don’t have to log in multiple times).

Kenneth Shek, project lead of Moca Network, said: “MocaProof establishes a foundation for verifiable, privacy-preserving digital identity, allowing users and enterprises to participate in credential-based ecosystems without compromising data ownership or compliance standards. MocaProof is where identity is created and reputation is accrued, enabling composable reward distribution through verified credentials.”

With MocaProof, users can explore and check credentials in its marketplace. These credentials can be about things like influence, finance, loyalty, or activity. All credentials in the marketplace are given by trusted partners and checked with zkProofs, making sure the data is safe and works across different platforms.

MocaProof also includes a virtual friend named Mocat. Mocat is a cute character in the Mocaverse who shows users their verified credentials. The more credentials users verify, the more Mocat changes and grows. The evolution of Mocat unlocks rewards, depending on how rare the character becomes.

In the future, MocaProof will also let users earn rewards for verifying their credentials. They can get MOCA Coin (MOCA), airdrops of tokens from Moca Network’s partners, and AIR SP (loyalty points that can be spent in AIR Shop, Moca Network’s rewards platform).

The MocaProof beta launch is currently available on Moca Chain Testnet, and it will move to mainnet in 2026. To celebrate, there will be a month-long campaign with NFT credentials and an NFT competition. The prize pool will be worth $50,000. For more information, users can visit app.moca.network.
